Biography

Christina D. Smith stands as a dedicated legal professional with a multifaceted background and a strong commitment to both her legal practice and community service. Graduating from Bullard High School in 2011, Christina pursued her passion for law and advocacy at California State University, Fresno, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2015. Continuing her academic journey, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2019.

Joining Griswold, LaSalle, Cobb, Dowd & Gin, LLP in the fall of 2019, Christina swiftly became an integral part of the team, focusing her efforts on labor and employment law, civil litigation, and providing exceptional legal counsel to clients across various sectors. Her expertise in labor and employment law is underscored by her SHRM Certification (Society for Human Resource Management), enhancing her ability to navigate complex legal matters with precision and insight.

Throughout her career, Christina has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and philanthropy. In addition to her role as President of the Griswold LaSalle Community Foundation, she also serves as a Board member of the Theodore John Stratigos Philanthropic Fund, a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Fresno community.

Christina’s dedication to her profession and her community has not gone unnoticed. In 2023, she was honored with the Rising Stars Award by Thomson Reuters, recognizing her exceptional talent and potential in the legal field.

Christina is also an active member of various professional associations, including the Kings County Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
