Summer Law Clerk Program

Griswold LaSalle is committed to investing in the next generation of legal professionals through our Summer Law Clerk Program. This program offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of the law in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Not only do our summer law clerks gain practical experience, but we also host many fun events and activities throughout the summer to help reduce stress and build comradery with Griswold LaSalle employees.

Program Details:

Target Audience: Law students typically seeking a position after the completion of their 2L year.
Recruitment Timeline: We typically begin recruiting for our Summer Law Clerk Program in the summer before the students’ 2L year.
Selection: We generally select 2-4 law students for this program each year.
Duration: The program is a paid 10-week experience during the summer.
Experience: As a Summer Law Clerk at Griswold LaSalle, you will have the opportunity to:
- Get to know our firm culture and attorneys.
- Learn about different areas of law through practical application.
- Gain real-life experience by attending court proceedings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
- Work on substantive client matters under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
