Griswold LaSalle Community Foundation
Who Are We?
The Griswold LaSalle Community Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) foundation. It is run by a Board consisting of employees who work at Griswold LaSalle. We raise funds through private donations and smaller events throughout the year. With this, we provide funds and opportunities to 1) our clients that are impacting the community, 2) students to help establish them in a legal career, 3) and any other organization which we believe helps our community .
What does the Foundation Do?
Law Week
Last year, as part of National Law Week, the Community Foundation hosted Law Day for local high school students interested in learning more about careers as a paralegal or lawyer.
Volunteering and Donating
The Foundation also participates and supports other charities in the Valley including the Hanford Education Foundation, Kings Community Action Organization, and The Homegrown Project among many others.
Christmas Window Unveiling
The Foundation takes the lead in our annual Christmas Window display. It is a major event that impacts the local community the entire month of December. The Funds raised at this event are donated to Children and Families in need for the Holidays!
Scholarships
For 2023, the Community Foundation allocated thousands of dollars for local groups that align with the Foundation’s goals as well as scholarships and stipends for local students attending paralegal and law school programs.
